Welcome to Sweeney Electrical & Plumbing Services ("Sweeney EPS", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our services. By requesting or utilizing our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Sweeney Electrical & Plumbing Services offers professional electrical and plumbing services to residential and commercial clients. Our services include, but are not limited to, installations, repairs, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting for electrical systems and plumbing infrastructure.

2. Quotes and Estimates

We provide written quotes and estimates for all services before work begins. These quotes are based on the assessment of the required work and prevailing material and labor costs. While we strive for accuracy, unforeseen circumstances may arise that could affect the final cost. Any significant changes or additional work required will be communicated to the client and approved before proceeding.

3. Payment Terms

  • Invoices: All services rendered are billed through invoice-based agreements. Invoices will be sent to the client's provided email address upon completion of work or at agreed-upon milestones for larger projects.
  • Due Date: Invoices are due and payable within thirty (30) days from the invoice date.
  • Late Payments: A late fee may be applied to overdue invoices at a rate of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is less, on the outstanding balance.
  • Secure Online Payments: We utilize Stripe for secure online payment processing, offering convenient and protected transactions for our clients.

4. Deposits

For larger projects, specialized materials, or at our discretion, a deposit may be required before work commences. The deposit amount and terms will be clearly outlined in your service quote or agreement.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients are requested to provide at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a service fee.

6. Refund Policy

Refunds for services rendered are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us within 7 days of service completion to discuss your concerns. We are committed to resolving issues promptly and fairly.

7. Limitation of Liability

Sweeney Electrical & Plumbing Services will perform all services with reasonable care and skill. However, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; or (c) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
